How can I incorporate crypto in my Opportunity Zone investments?
You will probably not be able to use crypto in your OZ vehicles. The only exception would be if crypto is part of your OZ venture's trade or business, which is tough to justify. Crypto does not mesh well with the OZ rules. As far as the government's plans for an official cryptocurrency, I think the government misunderstands why people like crypto: it's decentralized. I don't see a government-sponsored crypto being much of a success.
