Can the government create new OZs to help revitalize areas hit hard by COVID-19?
Are there any legislative changes underway to use the OZ program to stimulate the economy?
Answers
Yes. Possibly opening up the tax benefits for all active business investments.
I'm not aware of any. They conceivably could update the zones but I don't see it happening.
I haven't heard of any pending legislation, but this is a possibility.
