About Shahzad Qadri

Shahzad Qadri is currently a partner at Wong Fleming, based at its Redmond, Washington, office. Qadri, who has a 20-year legal career, specializes in immigration law, real estate and corporate maters. He focuses on investment-based EB¬-5 regional centers. He also chairs Wong Fleming’s immigration law practice group.

Qadri’s work includes successfully executing a $240 million multi-use project in Washington. He also helped successfully restructure a transaction involving a defaulting dealership and a major car manufacturer. In another case, Qadri advised and assisted clients with the purchase of a $65 million-plus resort property. He helped obtain foreign investment for the resort’s development.

Qadri has been named a rising legal star by Law and Politics. He was nominated as a fellow to the Washington Leadership Institute. Qadri was also awarded the John A. Gilmore Award for excellence in advocacy in minority businesses by the National Minority Supplier Development Council. He has been named in Lawyers of Color’s hot list, which recognizes minority attorneys who have made exceptional contributions and achievements in the legal field.

Before joining Wong Fleming, Qadri served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s office in Seattle. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Qadri received his J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
