Mike Landes is a senior government official working in the Opportunity Zone sector in the state of Colorado. He serves as the Opportunity Zone Program and Special Projects Director for the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT).
The OEDIT is a government run body where all programs are run under the leadership of the Colorado state governor and the OEDIT executive director.
Landes oversees the state's Opportunity Zone Program and its affiliated programs, including the OZ Capital Accelerator Program and the OZ Steering Committee Technical Grant Assistance Program.
Before joining OEDIT, Landes worked for the NC REALTORS, North Carolina's state association of real estate professionals, as their Director of Political Operations and Economic Development.
Landes holds a Master's of Public Policy from Duke University and B.A.s in Political Science and Ancient Near-East Comparative Literature from Columbia University.
Landes volunteers for the Carolina Jews for Justice and holds the position of vice president in the body. He has worked for Campaign Connections as strategic consultant and campaign director. He was also a program educator for the Teen Philanthropy Institute in Fort Lee, New Jersey. He has also been a development officer for the Fertile Grounds Project and a program fellow for the American Jewish World Service in the recent past.
He is fluent in English and proficient in Hebrew.
