About Adam Sanders

Adam R. Sanders is a partner and a member of the transactional department of Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. Sanders works out of the firm’s New York office.

Founded in 1975, Rosenberg & Estis is among one of the most reputable legal consulting companies in the real estate industry. With expertise in all aspects of real estate transactions, the firm advises clients on due diligence, property evaluation, financing, joint ventures, property acquisition, construction, design, land use and zoning. Its clientele includes property owners, developers, nonprofit organizations, educational institutes and investors.

Since joining the firm in 2016, Sanders has focused his practice on commercial real estate and business transactions. He assists clients in the acquisition, financing, construction, portfolio structuring, leasing and sales of a large variety of properties. His clients come from a broad range of industries, including real estate, entertainment and technology. With expertise in the Opportunity Zone tax incentive, Sanders provides comprehensive legal analyses and strategic solutions to investors and developers who want to benefit from this program.

Prior to joining the firm, Sanders served as the principal of Sanders Legal Group, a New York-based legal firm specializing in real estate legal services. He also worked as an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, a full-service law firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Before starting his legal career, Sanders worked at SNL Studios, the feature film division of Saturday Night Live.

Sanders holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor in real estate from Georgetown University. He currently serves on the Real Estate Executives Steering Committee of the UJA-Federation of New York, and the Real Property Law Committee of the Bar Association of the City of New York.
